Brewing the Perfect Cup

BREWING THE PERFECT CUP OF TEA!

Brewing the perfect cup of tea is fairly simple. You will extract the most pleasure from fine tea, steeped with care. But how to brew hot tea? Follow the guidelines given below. You should keep in mind that the way a cup of tea is brewed plays an enormous part in how the tea finally tastes. Fine tea leaves and a good brew make your Perfect cup!

1. GET YOUR WATER RIGHT

Fill your tea kettle with fresh water and bring it to a boil, unless you’re making green tea or 100% White Tea. In that case, stop short of boiling or boil the water and cool it down.

If you’re using a teapot, warm the pot first by swirling in a splash of steaming water and then pouring it out .

2. INFUSE WELL

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves, cover it if it’s in a pot, and infuse to taste. Different teas need different infusing times. Experiment to find your ideal steeping time, but take care about steeping for too long or you’ll find your tea has turned bitter.

3. ENJOY YOUR CUPPA!

Once you feel you’ve achieved the right infusion, remove the infuser, or strain the tea leaves. Pour the infused tea and let it cool for a moment and then enjoy!
