This whole leaf tea comes from the beautiful Kangra Valley nestled in the lower slopes of the Dhauladhar Range in the Himalayas. Tea was first introduced into the Kangra valley in 1849 by Dr. Jameson, then superintendent of the Botanical Gardens and has since been produced here using orthodox production techniques each year. Kangra remains the only exclusive tea crop in India that still grows the same original variety of Tea introduced 160 years ago. Our tea is treated with care and grown with love, mindful of the incredible heritage that it represents. The best of the original planter’s vision and the local people’s tradition are represented in this fine tea.
