Established in the year 1928 by Late Murlidharji Chokhani when he migrated from Assam in search of work because of Drought and British Raj in Rajhasthan. He would travel 3 hours daily on foot and plant bushes of tea. It also boasts of an Idol of Lord Shiva (A hindu Mythological god) found amidst the Plantation, and hence the name, Mahadeobari (Lord Shivas Garden). A garden with nearly 75% Clonal Bushes, it produces top quality Orthodox and CTC Teas. In the year 1989, it was the first garden to achieve the Rs 40 Mark in the Guwahuti Auction Tea Centre sold by Eastern Tea Brokers.
The garden is ISO 22000, HACCP AND GMP certified and in the process of a ETP.
