We sure hope you’ve tried them! Goji Berries, or “happy” berries, have become increasingly popular in recent times. The new superfood on the block, there is no escaping its claimed health benefits. Also known as wolfberries, this mild, tangy fruit is a little sweet and sour and is usually found dried.
Goji berries have long been enjoyed in China and the Himalayas for their sweet taste and bright color, in food and medicines. They are high in Vitamin C and E, have been said to help boost metabolism, and are recommended for the treatment of diabetes and high blood pressure, to name a few. Their history as a medicinal plant has roots in ancient China, where Goji Berries still are used to treat eye, liver, and kidney ailments. A host of additional nutritional and medical claims have made the fruit extremely popular around the world.

There are several ways to try Goji Tea. While the traditional method does not use any tea, we recommend mixing it with your loose leaf tea.
- Infuse the Goji Berries with White or Green Tea.
- Add a handful of Goji Berries to a big mug of hot tea and let it sit and hydrate for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Wait till the berries become plump and juicy.
- You can drink the tea and eat the hydrated berries which are loaded with antioxidants.
Green and white teas have antioxidant properties, so combining these teas with the Goji Berries increases the antioxidant properties of the beverage. Now that is what we call a super-beverage, loaded with antioxidants!
